How to practice to attain liberation
- To attain enlightenment - liberation, first you must have right view - seeing the truth, practicing the right Dharma will have liberating knowledge, attaining wisdom. - Live without causing suffering to yourself - suffering to others and suffering to all living beings. - Practice the Noble Eightfold Path to attain precepts, concentration and wisdom. - Be mindful and aware in every action, attain right view, right thinking. - Rely on yourself to attain enlightenment, do not beg or pray to external forces. _Elder Thich Thong Lac_ An Arahant who has attained enlightenment, mastering life - aging - sickness - death.
Practicing the right Dharma of Buddha
- The mind is unmoved, calm, peaceful, and carefree - Use the power of consciousness and mind to intend to abandon greed, anger and ignorance. - Master the four sufferings - life - aging - sickness - death. - Buddhism is not superstitious or abstract. - Buddhism is very easy to practice, not difficult, if practiced correctly.
How to practice in the wrong way
- Practicing according to the method of suppressing the mind, suppressing consciousness, making consciousness no longer active, creating illusions, seeing the metaphysical world, but when escaping from that state, returning to reality, greed - anger - ignorance still remain. - Not being able to control the disease, the disease still follows, being bedridden, sitting in a wheelchair, suffering when dying, still being reincarnated, reborn according to good - bad karma.
